MATTHEW HARRIS | Project manager

Matt has over 11 years of experience working in the construction industry. After graduating from Clemson University with a degree in Construction Science & Management and minor in Business Management, he always knew his goal was to come back to the Lowcountry where he was raised. He has since spent time as a Project Manager for Kalkreuth Roofing and Sheet Metal in Lexington, Residential Department Head for Baker Roofing in Charleston, and as a Project Manager with Coastline Construction on Hilton Head Island. Matt is excited to bring his extensive industry knowledge and Project Management experience to help Reed Group continue to develop with innovation and quality. Outside of work, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife Kathryn and daughter Evelyn and golfing at the many beautiful golf courses in the area.


Pam Pitoniak | director of finance

Pam Pitoniak oversees all aspects of finance and accounting or development and sales operations to ensure the company's departments are on track and within budget on a regular basis. She graduated from Miami University in Ohio with a degree in Accounting and moved to Hilton Head after graduation. Pam fell in love with the Lowcountry at a young age and has never had the desire to live anywhere else. She originally came on board with The Reed Group in 2001, handling Accounts Payable for the Berkeley Hall project and has since acquired many additional responsibilities and grown with the company over the years. Pam has seen Mr. Reed reinvent the company multiple times and feels that changing and staying "ahead of the game" is the mainstay of the development industry, which has always been a strongpoint in the Reed family.



STACEy GARBETT | Director of Operations

Stacey Garbett has a wealth of experience in multiple business capacities. As a licensed South Carolina Real Estate Agent, she oversees all aspects of real estate transactions in the office from listing to closing. Being multi-faceted, Stacey also ensures the company’s daily operations runs smoothly and efficiently, aligning with the organizational goals. She also provides administrative support to John Reed and Reed Commercial Partners. She has been an integral part of Reed Group and the communities it has developed. Stacey has deeps roots in the lowcountry, where she grew up exploring all the charms of the area and has watched Bluffton grow from a sleepy little town to a tourist destination. Prior to joining the Reed Group family in 2008, She managed the day-to-day operations of her husband’s construction company with accounting, permitting and administrative responsibilities. Stacey graduated from Hilton Head High School and is an alumni of the University of South Carolina. She enjoys spending her time on the water with her husband, 2 sons, & 2 dogs. Her love for the lowcountry, its beautiful landscapes and southern traditions embody the  spirit of the company.
